The International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) offers members an opportunity to earn a Fellowship in Dental Traumatology. This prestigious award recognizes colleagues across all fields of clinical dentistry who provide treatment, teaching, support, and research, and who stimulate advances in the field of dental traumatology.

The award is based on a points system and an online examination. IADT members are eligible to enter the Fellowship process after 3 years of continuous full active membership. (Student membership is not full active membership)

Successful candidates will be honored as Fellows of the International Association of Dental Traumatology, identified on the IADT web page, and recognized at a special ceremony at an IADT congress.

Fellowship in Dental Traumatology

The Fellowship program was devised and approved to identify and reward individuals who have shown knowledge and committment to Dental Traumatology, and who have worked to promote both the science and practice of traumatology in their professional careers. It is intended to attract individuals preferably with at least 6-10 years experience post graduation or post specialisation so that the individuals would be known within the field of traumatology, have organised or presented officially within national or international meetings and have had an opportunity to become involved in our organisation. 

Active involvement in the organization is expected of every Fellow through participation in IADT committee work and developement.
