Dear IADT Family,
The IADT is starting 2025 with fresh energy, innovative ideas, and exciting plans. Contributing substantially to the vibrant state of our organization are the newly staffed committees. I would like to thank those of you (and there were many) who expressed an interest in membership in one or more of IADT’s committees. It is a pleasure to see our members willing to contribute their time and talents for the benefit of our association and for improving the quality of life for our patients and communities worldwide. I look forward to seeing the exciting initiatives that will come from our committees.
As a result of the interest and considerable effort of IADT’s speakers for the 22nd World Congress on Dental Traumatology in Tokyo, Japan last July, our official journal, Dental Traumatology, published a special issue featuring a robust collection of articles on dental traumatic injuries. These papers were authored by the world’s leading authorities in traumatic dental injuries. I encourage you to peruse this special issue and enjoy and learn from the educational treasures it offers.
The local organizing committee for the IADT’s South American regional meeting in Brazil in May 2025 is working diligently to create an unforgettable event with insightful lectures and special social events. This meeting will take place in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil on May 22-23, 2025. Please visit our website for more information on this meeting and plan to join us in May for a South American style celebration of education in dental traumatology. Together we will celebrate our shared passion for and enhance our knowledge in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dental traumatic injuries.
I encourage you not to miss our newly published lecture on the IADTube channel provided by our President-Elect, Michał Sobczak (Warsaw, Poland). These lectures provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable information on a wide variety of dental traumatology topics. So, sit back, listen, enjoy, and learn.
Please remember to renew your IADT membership for 2025, if you have not done so yet. While renewing your membership, feel free to use the donation button on our website as well! Your donation, along with those of others, goes a long way towards improving the lives of dental trauma victims around the world.
Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to get updates and more news from the IADT.
Yours,
Liran Levin
